Got this great fix from Eleanor - and it works perfectly. You are basically going back to Yahoo Avatars and saving it as a jpeg to your computer and then uploading it onto your blog. See below: We found a fix for the Yahoo Avatars this morning. We think there's something wrong with the html code. So here's what to do to get around that:
1. Go to your avatar on the Yahoo page. Click export like before. 2. Right click on the avatar and choose "save as" or the like. 3. Save the picture to your desktop with a name you will remember (as a picture -- .jpeg) 4. Go back to your blog and choose "customize". 5. Click on your avatar gadget (it's an html gadget) and click "remove" when it asks if you are sure, say "yes". You are sure. 6. Click “add gadget” and choose the picture gadget. Make sure “from your computer” is selected and click “browse”. 7. Find where you saved your avatar, select it, and click “open”. 8. Click “save”. 9. Click “save” again, just in case. 10. Click view blog. Your avatar should show up.
